Shadow Lane Party- Friday

I think a layer of my skin may have been spanked off. But oh, was it worth it! I am slowly coming down from a wonderful weekend in Vegas, meeting so many people who I hope to remain friends with for a long time. Danny and I woke up at the crack of dawn on Friday to catch our plane, and we arrived at the SunCoast Hotel around nine in the morning. Danny immediately ran into some of his friends (the man knows EVERYONE there) and we had a low-key lunch.

While we were eating, a man approached our table and asked if I was Sophie. It was Michael, a fan of the RealSpankings sites who I had been emailing back and forth with for a while before the party. It is always nice to be able to put a face to the conversations! Afterward, we went up to the room to nap in anticipation of the festivities that would be keeping us up late. I had heard enough about these parties to know that I could not get through them without staying well rested!

I've also heard others say what a blur the parties are, and it's true. Though I had a great time with each person I played with, I can't for the life of me remember each one perfectly, so I may leave some people out; please forgive me if I do, as it's nothing personal! After our nap, Danny and I headed down to the casino's coffee shop, where there was a small gathering of people from the WorldSpankingForum (organized by Michael). We chatted there for a bit before heading up to our room to shoot a clip for our store with Bill and Katee, who I had been talking with before the party as well.

I had vowed to myself that I wouldn't do a lot of shooting while at the party; I had to pace myself, after all! But Danny and I got some great spanking video footage, and the full video will be on my Clips4Sale store soon!

After that, it was time to eat a quick dinner and head up to the Vendor's Fair in the ballroom.

It was fun to walk around the booths and shake hands with some people I recognized, as well as meeting many new faces. I'd like to take a second to emphasize just how friendly the Northern Spanking Group is. They are all so pleased to be among friends and are completely courteous.

I got to briefly talk with Jules from SSNY, who told me that someone had recommended me as a possible subject for one of their discipline videos. I would have loved to take the opportunity, but I didn't want to fit that into an already spank-filled weekend. I told her I would love to if I was ever in her area. Let's see, who else? Lily Starr and Sarah Gregory both had booths and were both pleasant to chat with. I got to meet Chelsea Pfeiffer and Abigail Whittaker, both of whom I have admired from their videos.

I was REALLY excited when I saw Erica Scott and J walk in. Erica was immediately off greeting and hugging people, but Danny introduced me to J, who promptly walked me over to meet Erica. If there was one person I was looking forward to meeting the most, it was her, and I gave her a big hug. As everyone is aware, I admire this lady so much. Her wit, her sass, not to mention her legendary bionic bottom, it's all more noticeable in person! She introduced me to Andy, a lovely gentleman who I played with later that night at a suite party.

After the Vendor's Fair, we went up to our room to freshen up and headed out to the suite parties. We started out at Carolyn's suite, as it was her birthday, and then headed up to the big party in Tom's room. It was hoppin', and I got to play several times, and have a lot of playful fun, including the incident Erica writes on her blog where she poured water on Danny's head (while I was over his lap!).

We then went down to Paul's suite to end the night, and Danny went off to play with Lily while I stayed and talked. I played a few more times, including getting a few swats with a cricket bat that the other girls were afraid to try (I always love a spanking challenge!)

I can't remember a lot of other specifics, only that I felt instantly comfortable and happy with the group that was there. We stayed awake socializing until about 2:30 am, when we stumbled back up to our room. I fell asleep within seconds of hitting the pillow.

  5. Sophie, thanks for mentioning me -- twice! It never occurred to me that I was the first person to recognize and greet you at the hotel -- but, then, it never occurred to me that you'd flown in Friday morning. I figured anyone eating a meal at that time in the cafe had spent the night in the hotel and just woken up. No wonder you seemed a bit surprised when I first spoke to you.

"I had vowed to myself that I wouldn't do a lot of shooting while at the party," eh? Looking back, how would you say that worked out for you? I guess it depends entirely on your definition of "a lot." Seems to ME like you shot a lot. Might as well take advantage while so many other spankos are available.

It was great to meet you and get to play briefly. You are an absolute delight in person, and lived up to every expectation I had as a fan -- which is usually impossible (the mere thought of fan expectations gives most people in your situation a headache).

  6. Michael-
You are welcome, it was a pleasure meeting you and playing with you as well!

Yeah, "not shooting a lot"...hmm, that didn't really work out. However, I only did one shoot on the first day there, and then waited until Monday afternoon (when most everyone had left) to do the other shoots. So, all in all, I think I paced myself pretty well.

Hopefully you and I will meet again and revisit our session. :-)
